Poetry: A Myth of Devotion →
goodpoetry: When Hades decided he loved this girl he built for her a duplicate of earth, everything the same, down to the meadow, but with a bed added. Everything the same, including sunlight, because it would be hard on a young girl to go so quickly from bright light to utter darkness Gradually, he…  ”which seems to him a more promising beginning, more true.”

vogue: Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2011 Couture  Andrej Pejic in the partially transparent gown made my heart hurt with happiness.  There are not a lot of things I wish the real world could learn from the fashion world, but the fluidity of gender roles is one of them. +PRETTY

Some people are genuinely happy and nice, without trying and without lying (despite the fact that they have a fucking BRAIN TUMOR).  People like me need a reminder of that sometimes.

Yet another great dream:
I am calling every restaurant in Columbus to see if I can get a reservation for 20 for Friday night.  I also have to make sure this table for twenty has plenty of room surrounding its perimeter “because we will all be wearing very large capes.  It’s prom night.”

When you are afflicted with wanting exclusively...
(which is a disease that only spoiled little girls and philosophers get) a sense of calm is a rare rare thing.  When achieved, it is best for these girls and philosophers to lay still and ride it out, savor savor savor.

I left my moist towelettes open last night.  They turned into regual towelettes. :( I hate it when there are an odd number of slices in a loaf of bread.  Who are they making this for, open-faced sandwich chefs?!?! These are my only complaints.  I lead a charmed life.

I HAD A DREAM
MY GRANDMA DIED (even though that happened 11 years ago) AND TINA FEY DID A SKIT AT HER FUNERAL.  THERE WAS A SONG AND DANCE, TOO. Oh god, such mixed emotions.

– Alison Mosshart (via esvanir) I live that way, too.  Not at night but I have to wait until everyone else is gone to do anything.  Everything is a secret.

Even as an adult (only in age) I still have dreams of being a little kid and being kidnapped.  Only now (though I am still a child in the dreams) I save myself AND MY DAD (played by Bill Pullman and NOT Tom Hanks for once - I KNOW I WAS SURPRISED, TOO) from our unsavory fates.  This is a perk of being a grown up.
